  • New Northridge President - Jolene Koester, CSUS Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, was named as the new of California State University, Northridge on Tuesday morning.

  • Cast your vote on the recreation center referendum from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at polls in the Library breezeway, and in front of the University Union, River Front Center, Eureka Hall and the residence halls.

  • University Transportation And Parking Services is hiring officers for the spring semester. Duties include: enforcement of parking regulations, issuing citations to illegally parked vehicles, provide service to campus community and staff the bicycle compound. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be willing to work outdoors. Applications are available in the UTAPS office inside Foley Hall.

  • Volunteers are needed for campus focus groups. Participants will be paid $40 and is open to all CSUS students. To register and for more information call 278-6060.

  • Learning to Lead - The Brown Bag Lunch Series' latest seminar on "Nuts and Bolts of Running a Student Organization," is Monday at 4 p.m. in the Student Activities conference room. The workshops are open to those in leadership positions as well as to those just considering leading a group.For more information contact Student Activities at 278-6595.

  • Intersession Enrollment - Advance Registration for winter intersession begins Monday through Nov. 24. Mail in or drop box only. Walk- In Add/Drop registration is Dec. 6 - 10 at RCE Records, Lassen Hall. Check the schedule at www.csus.edu/schedule.htm or call 278-6984 for information.
