MONDAY, APRIL 26
THREATS: A Staff member reported receiving threats from a student in a room in the temporary buildings.
PETTY THEFT: Items were reported stolen out of the mens locker room in Yosemite Hall.
PETTY THEFT: A theft of a backpack occurred in the Library.
GRAND THEFT: A Macintosh Power Book laptop, with an estimated value of $2,000, was stolen from an unlocked dorm room in Sutter Hall.
TUESDAY, APRIL 27
DISTURBING THE PEACE: A group of subjects were reported to be yelling and screaming in the area outside of Foley Hall.
INCIDENT: University Police responded to a female on in-line skates, who had fallen down and injured her hand. The woman refused medical assistance.
WARRANT ARREST: A vehicle stop by University Police, resulted in the arrest of Damon james Simon, 21, on one no-bail count of DUI, and one misdemeanor $10,000 warrant for driving with a suspicious license levied by the Los Gatos Police Department.
DISTURBANCE: Several juvenile skateboarders were seen in the Library quad. The juveniles were gone on arrival of University Police.
DISTURBANCE: Several juveniles were seen riding skateboards on top of bike lockers near the motorcycle parking lot.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28
ARREST: University Police arrested Hoa Nguyen, 24, for possession of stolen property after University Transportation and Parking officers reported a stolen permit in the vehicle that the suspect was driving. The vehicle in which the permit belonged had been reported stolen.
INCIDENT: University Police responded to a report of a large television set in pieces, sitting in weeds on the southeast corner of State University Drive.
GRAND THEFT: A television, VCR and cell phones were reported stolen out of the Safe Rides office on the first floor of the University Union. University Police believe that the television set that was found earlier in the weeds, belonged in the Safe Rides office.
THURSDAY, APRIL 29
INCIDENT: A branch, causing minor damage, fell on a vehicle in Lot 8.
INCIDENT: UTAPS impounded a black Ford Escort that displayed no plates and a covered-up vehicle identification number.
AUTO BURGLARY: A portable JVC radio was reported stolen from a Toyota Supra in Lot 11.
WELFARE CHECK: University Police responded to a report that two females on bicycles collided on the middle of the bike ramp near the Guy West Bridge. One female was reported down. Both subjects were gone on arrival of University Police.
DISTURBING THE PEACE: Unknown subject causing a fight with two lab assistants in the second floor computer lab in the Library. Subject gone on arrival of University Police.
PETTY THEFT: A black leather backpack was reported stolen from the second floor computer lab in the Library.
WELFARE CHECK: University Police responded to a report of a stunt bicyclist falling and injuring ankle. The subject was practicing with a stunt group and was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital.
FRIDAY, APRIL 30
ARREST: Jason Phillip Manual, 22, was arrested by University Police on a felony battery charge which occurred off campus on Feb. 14. The suspect and the victim both are students.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: A white Toyota Celica was seen on the fourth floor of the Parking Structure with the front drivers side door open, and no one around.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: A Honda Accord vs. a Sierra Railway charter bus.
DISTURBING THE PEACE: Approximately 30 subjects inside the recreation room in Jenkins Hall were reported to be acting rowdy and refusing to leave.
BOMB THREAT: An unknown male subject placed a call from an unknown campus location, reporting a conversation he had with several CSUS students, who said they were going to plant a bomb at a party Friday night. No further details were given.
SATURDAY, MAY 1
INCIDENT: A Citizen reported a possible broken water pipe behind the Sequoia Hall loading dock.
DISTURBANCE: Skateboarders were reported outside of Amador Hall.
DISTURBING THE PEACE: A large group of students were reported to be gathering in front of the Union. Subjects advised.
SUNDAY, MAY 2
FIRE: A vehicle fire was reported on the fourth floor of the Parking Structure. The incident is currently under investigation, but University Police believe arson was the cause.
DISTURBING THE PEACE: Two lab assistants in Mendocino Hall 3006 were reportedly arguing. One assistant has a back problem and must sit in a specific chair and the other assistant refused to leave.
