Jenkins and Draper Halls are of the same design — each of the three floors divided into separate corridors by a central stairwell with men on one side and women on the other. Jenkins Hall, second floor, is all female. These buildings house approximately 208 residents in double occupancy rooms.

Residents may bring a mini-refrigerator (4.4 cu. ft. or less) and microwave oven (not exceeding 700 watts). There is a limit of one mini-refrigerator and one microwave oven per room.

Pins to bunk your beds are available at the front desk of each hall. Beds are not to be modified outside of original design. Personal beds are not allowed unless there is a documented medical need. Beds are not to be stacked on other furniture or lofted in any way unless specifically designed and approved for that purpose by facilities staff.

All furniture provided by the University must remain in its designated place. Room furnishings are not to be switched to other rooms or placed in storage.
Your room is supplied with either heat or air conditioning depending on weather conditions. Draper, Jenkins and Desmond have fan controls in each room. Sierra and Sutter are controlled as zones through rooftop units. Air conditioning and heat (HVAC) are supplied by boilers and chillers regulated by computerized controls. You cannot switch between heat and air like at home.
