Classification and CompensationSacramento Hall, Room 173 Classification and Compensation is responsible for the coordination of personnel policies and procedures in classification and compensation matters in accordance with collective bargaining agreements; and support to University administrators on position classification, individual position, unit design, and reorganization. This unit is specifically responsible for coordinating the Classification Program, the classification appeal process, employee-initiated and management-initiated classification review requests, and temporary or permanent reassignments; provides new/replacement position classification; assists with departmental reorganizations; and receiving and processing requests for additional compensation, with the HR Compensation Committee determining the results.
