Classification and CompensationSacramento Hall, Room 173 Classification and Compensation is responsible for the coordination of personnel policies and procedures in classification and compensation matters in accordance with collective bargaining agreements; and support to University administrators on position classification, individual position, unit design, and reorganization. This unit is specifically responsible for coordinating the Annual Classification Review Program, the classification appeal process, employee-initiated and unscheduled management classification review requests, and temporary or permanent reassignments; provides new/replacement position classification; assists with departmental reorganizations; and receiving and processing requests for additional compensation, with the HR Compensation Committee determining the results.
