Brief Biography:
Previously taught at San Diego State and UC Santa Barbara before coming to CSUS in 1974.  At CSUS, I have taught in the area of international relations/comparative politics and run the University’s successful Model UN program.

Brief Biography:
David Andersen grew up in Palo Alto, California where his parents (both CSUS alums) were public school teachers.  He attended Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts where he studied with Michael Klare in the Five College Peace and World Security Studies program.  He then worked as a researcher and Scoville Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists and was the national chapter coordinator and associate director of Student Pugwash USA.  He completed his PhD at the University of Maryland and has previously taught at George Washington University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Vanderbilt University.  In his spare time he runs, welds, and watches too much baseball.
