Lecture Objective: Working from the small scale to the large, provide
a general foundation for understanding the science of ecology and the functioning
of natural ecosystems. Lectures are not intended to be mere summaries of the
reading material but rather the readings in the text are intended to broaden
the material presented in the lectures.
Exams: Bring Scantron Form 883-ES. Multiple choice, short answer
and essay-type question. Material will be drawn from your lecture notes,
readings associated with quiz questions and information from the lab. Final
exam will be half new material and half comprehensive.
