Advanced Plant Ecology (BIO 214) is a course designed for graduate students and advanced standing undergraduates interested in understanding the fundamental properties of plant populations and their regulation, plant community structure, function and productivity, the role of plants in ecosystem processes, and the effects of humans on plants and their ecological relations. Lecture one hour; laboratory and field six hours. Prerequisite: Bio 160. Not offered every semester. 3 units.
