CULTURE-L is a discussion list and informational forum for faculty and grad students in the sociocultural program at CSUS. (We also welcome undergraduate anthropology majors who are considering graduate school here or elsewhere.) CULTURE-L is currently un-moderated. Exercise good judgment when posting comments, notices, queries, etc. Remember that your responses and commentary will be seen by all subscribers to the list (and for that matter, by anyone to whom your message might be electronically forwarded). Once you subscribe to the list, you will receive an email confirmation and welcome message and information about how to post a message to CULTURE-L.
 
There are three ways to subscribe to the list. The first method is the easiest, as it doesn't require you to ascertain whether or not your email program is set to HTML (which won't work!) or to the necessary "rich" or "plain" text.  For this reason I recommend the Web based method (#1).
 
Method #1

Go to: http://www.csus.edu/irt/web/listserv/

On the lefthand column, click on "Subscribe to a listserv list."  Enter CULTURE-L as the list name and then enter the requested information.


Method #2
Send an e-mail message to:

 LISTSERV@LISTSERV.CSUS.EDU

 With the two-line message:

SUBSCRIBE CULTURE-L firstname lastname
END

For example, Jane Smith would send the following message to
LISTSERV@LISTSERV.CSUS.EDU:

SUBSCRIBE CULTURE-L Jane Smith
END

Method #3

Send me an email message with your name and email address and I will enter your subscription for you.
