Frog and Toad Calls of the Pacific Coast: Vanishing Voices

An audio guide identifying 25 species of frogs and toads found in the Pacific Coast states (Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, and North Baja California). 

The one hour CD is accompanied by a 28 page booklet with descriptions of calls, breeding season, and breeding habitats for each species; as well as information on the different types of frog calls, on learning and identifying calls, and on the use of sound by biologists.

This production is a collaboration between the U.S. Forest Service and the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.

An audio guide identifying 38 species of frogs and toads that occur in the Rocky Mountains and Southwestern states and provinces: Yukon, Northwest Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Each of the species has a unique voice which can be used to identify it. Includes an audio test section and a detailed booklet with illustrations.
