This book talks about Ancient Egypt compared to Egypt today.  It takes a look into the Egyptian society and the varying class levels that are held.  Everyday life in Ancient Egyptians encountered and the religion the spread across the land is some on the interesting facts that can be found.  This book includes many Ancient Egypt facts and references for students to enjoy.

Brain Quest is the up-to-date educational seller that quizzes students on the stuff you want them to know.  Each card will have two social studies questions.  The teacher or student can sort through the cards and pull out the ones that relate to Ancient Egypt.  These cards can be found for many different levels and incorporate math, science, and social studies.

Ancient Egypt by George hart.  Published by Eyewitness books, 1990.  This book is very informative on the story of Ancient Egypt.  Kids will be able to see, learn, and discover everything from jewels to tools and toys to the mummies and the history and people of Ancient Egypt.  This would be for the 6th grade standard 6.2; 1-9 Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures of the early civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Kush.
