BIO-279: Conservation Biology & Wildlife Management

Course Catalog Description:
Critical review of applications of
ecological and wildlife-orientated theory in conservation
biology research. Exploration of key topics and issues in
conservation of organisms, with emphasis on vertebrate animals
and plants. Lecture/discussion three hours. Prerequisites:
BIO 160, BIO 179; Graduate standing; or instructor permission.

Note: Students will need an e-mail account and computer access to the Web. All Sacramento State students enrolled in one or more units can create a SacLink account for e-mail. Although a home computer with Internet access running Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Netscape Navigator would be beneficial, students can access the Internet from one of the campus student labs.
