1/20/09

Hello and welcome!  Here are a couple of things to keep in mind as we begin the course:

  • Please take a little time to browse through the course web pages this week. You'll likely find some helpful information about course assignments and resources. I do not suggest that you print off the entire web site! Instead, print off those pages that have information you will need in written form (i.e., assignment handouts, lecture outlines). There are a lot of pages for me to take care of, so if any of the links are missing, or if you are having difficulties, please let me know.

  • Lecture outlines are posted as I develop and revise them (i.e., throughout the semester). I will typically post one or two outlines at a time, so if you find that a particular lecture isn't yet linked, it probably means I haven't posted it yet.

  • You can keep on track in the course and assignment due dates by accessing the course schedule. The course schedule will be updated periodically. Be sure to check this announcements page and the course schedule weekly. There are links to almost everything you need from these two pages.

  • Be advised that CHDV 133 is a prerequisite or co-requisite for this course. If you have not taken CHDV 133 and are not currently enrolled in CHDV 133, you will be removed from the course roster by the department.
