Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Sac State
Faculty/Student/Alumni Network
Welcome to the Sac State I/O Psychology ListProc Information Page!
We have established this ListProc (IOPSYC-L@CSUS.EDU) as a means of providing an easy way to network and maintain contact with other individuals who have common "roots" in the I/O program at Sac State. Once you subscribe to the ListProc, any message you send to the list will be seen by all subscribed members of the list, who may then reply to the postings (which again will be seen by all members of the list).
We thought this would be a great way for current and former I/O graduate students and faculty at Sac State to contact each other regarding any academic, professional, or social events, opportunities, announcements, questions, etc. We have no strict rules for use of the list, except to remember that it is a professional and public forum, so keep the topics and messages appropriate and non-offensive!
If you have ties to our I/O program as a current or former student, we invite you to sign yourself on to the ListProc by following these four steps:
1) Point your browser to http://aitweb.csus.edu/listproc/subscribe.php
2) Insert IOPSYC-L as the list name
3) Type your name and e-mail address into the spaces provided
4) Click "subscribe"
Please note that the e-mail address you enter here is the one that all messages will be sent to, and it is also the address where you must send any messages from (address all messages to IOPSYC-L@CSUS.EDU ). If you try sending from a different address the system will not recognize you and will reject the message.
As a note on inbox management, most e-mail programs allow you to set up folders and define message rules telling it what to do with certain types of messages. If you set up a folder in your inbox (e.g., call it "SacState-IO"), then you can define a rule so that any posting you receive is automatically placed into that folder. See the instructions for whatever e-mail program you use to determine how to do this.
Thanks for signing on! We hope this proves to be a useful tool for all of us.
