Taxable sales from New Automobile Dealers in the 4 county Sacramento Metropolitan Statistical Area declined 5.7% (-$250 million) in 2006, ending with a total value of $4.1 billion. The forecast for 2007, based on actual data through the 4th quarter, 2006, is for a decline of 3.8% ($160 million), followed by 1.6% increase in 2008.
