The forecast for 2007, based on actual data through the 4th quarter, 2006, is for a decline of 3.8% ($160 million), followed by 1.6% increase in 2008. |

Auto sales in the Sacramento MSA and for California are forecasted for 2007, based on actual data through the 4th quarter, 2006, to show a 3.8% decrease in the MSA, compared to a 2.2% decrease in the state and a forecast decline of 2.2% in the U.S. The forecast for 2008 for the Sacramento MSA is an increase of 1.6%, while the forecast for California is a 3.8% increase and the US, based on actual data through November, 2007 is a 5.3% increase. |
