Michelle Bruce will be presenting information on the role of General Education in the University curriculum.

Writing Assignment:

Read “14 Ways of Looking at Electives,” (pp. 244-249). In complete sentences answer Discussion Questions 1,2, 3, 5.

Don’t forget to cite within what you write. Be prepared to discuss your answers.

Because of the Veteran's Day holiday, we will not be meeting on Wednesday. Please turn in your journal entry on Monday.

Pick 2 of the seven dimensions of wellness presented in class on Monday, November 2. If you missed class on Monday, part of what was presented can be found at this website: http://www.wellness.maricopa.edu/aspects.html . Talking with colleagues might help fill in some gaps.

For each of those two dimensions answer the following questions.

How has your wellness changed since you started college? What do you to stay well? What new challenges to staying well and what new opportunities to stay well have you encountered since starting college? What valuable information about staying well did you obtain from a wellness educator?
