During my sabbatical, I was a visiting professor at ChiangMai University in northern Thailand.
I co-taught a Sociolinguistics class in the Faculty of Humanities.
The students were mostly 4th year English majors.
(More of the Humanities class.)
I also taught a graduate "Linguistics for EFL Teachers" in the Faculty of Education.
Graduate students don't have to wear uniforms.
One of my students was a Buddhist monk.
Colleagues from the Faculty of Education
