individual photographers wishing to sell their work have developed home pages. While
the images are often 72 dpi or less in resolution (a fine quality image will
typically be over 1000 dpi), the viewer can usually obtain a reasonable sense of the
image. Many museums, centers, and galleries with photographic collections also have
homepages. Because photography encompasses images, a key Internet strength, the
field will experience dramatic growth over the next several years.
