Civic Engagement Assignment Volunteer Contacts

Remember that you can volunteer for any group related to politics or government (clear it with me). You need to do at least 8 hours total -- those hours could be split between 2 or more groups, but are usually better spent with a single group. You are responsible for contacting organizations and explaining why you are calling and how much work you are able/ willing to do.  This list may grow with time.

*Help with making follow up phone calls to candidates to remind them about participating in the online Smart Voter voter education project. May take 2-4 hours.

*They also need someone to help with posting League forums/events online at various community calendars.

*They are doing an election night project with KCRA TV, where they answer phones to answer viewer election questions. To volunteer for this, call Carol Moon Goldberg (916)684-4622 Moonberg@msn.com
