Free to use. Donation gladly accepted. There is a free version of QuizMaster that is used on-site and there is a stand-alone version that can be purchased for $30 (single-license). Five of the game-types can only be developed using the stand-alone version. Question randomization not integrated. Games created on-site, saved to user’s computer.

Not freeware - but is “free of charge for publicly funded, non-profit, educational users who make their pages available on the web. A suite that includes six applications. These different applications allow you to create several different types of games for the World Wide Web. Other users must pay for a licence”. $100.00 for a single-user license.Types of Games: interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises.

Shareware program that is downloaded to your computer. Can use it to make small mazes, but you will need to purchase the full version ($50 single-user license) to get a code for full use of the program.

Types of Games: action mazes. What are they? ? “An Action Maze is a kind of interactive case-study; the user is presented with a situation, and a number of choices as to a course of action to deal with it. On choosing one of the options, the resulting situation is then presented, again with a set of options. Working through this branching tree is like negotiating a maze, hence the name "Action Maze".

This web site has thousands of fun interactive exercises that are categorized for easy selection. Existing activities that have been created by other instructors are free to use.

Types of Games: “matching, concentration (memory), word search, hangman, jumbled words, ordered list, picture perfect, pop-ups, challenge board, scavenger hunt, rags to riches (a quiz-show style trivia game), columns, and cloze exercises.”
