Central Library is fortunate to have a separate Genealogy Collection, located on the 4th floor. Materials in this collection do not circulate, and are designated by the letters "GENE" at the beginning of the call number. Other genealogy books are located in the circulating collection on the 4th floor, usually with a 929.1 call number. These books may be checked out. Materials with the letter "R" in front of the call number are found in the reference collection on the 2nd floor, and do not circulate.
