Course Description
Elementary French - second semester. Course focuses on the development of elementary linguistic skills, with emphasis on the spoken language. The relationship of the language to French civilization and culture is given special attention.
This is a 4 unit course. It meets four days a week. A lot of homework is given, but the course is fun and students do learn French! This course will provide the beginning foundation for developing the skill of understanding and communicating in French.
Technology Requirements
Students will need an electronic mail account and computer access to the Web. All CSUS students enrolled in one or more units can create a SacLink account for electronic mail and Internet services. Although a home computer with a high speed modem running Firefox or Internet Explorer would be beneficial, students can use the Web from one of the campus student labs.
