ASSIGNMENTS Fall 2022

The purpose of the homework assignment is to encourage further practice for the topics covered in our book but not covered in class (due to time constraints) and to give you the opportunity to work on more comprehensive exercises than those covered in the book.

The assignment documents that I provide you include step-by-step instructions which will assist you to completing the assignments. However, is it reasonable to expect that you will make some mistakes. A significant part of learning relates to resolving your errors and the other technical issues that you may experience as you complete the assignments. Please understand the purpose of each step in the assignments so you have a starting point in resolving your issues.

Here is how I will assist you with the assignments:

1.      When we are working on an assignment during lab hours, I will provide unlimited assistance on the first come first serve basis until the end of the class.

2.      After class, each student can use my assistance 5 times during the semester, without any point deduction.

3.      After you have used my free assistance, I will deduct one point for every time I resolve a technical issue or correct one error that you have made in the assignment.

4.      You will have unlimited assistance in understanding “what” you have to do to complete the assignments. The “how” part (how to complete each assignment), is the graded component and you must complete it without my assistance.

Assignment Submitting Standards:

·         When presenting your analysis report please insert your SAP screens and/or required documentation to demonstrate the completion of each task (look at the documentation requirements below).
