Graduate Programs

CSU Mentor will be permanently closed as of May 29, 2017.

The next term that graduate applicants may submit an application for will be Spring 2018 through the new CAL STATE APPLY application system starting August 1, 2017.  More information will be posted in the coming months. Please note that International Admissions will continue to receive FALL 2017 applications for the International MBA (IMBA) graduate program.  Instructions on how to submit a paper application for the Fall 2017 IMBA cohort can be found below.

Note: The IMBA program will be accepting paper applications for Fall 2017 through June 26, 2017.

a. Please download the paper application corresponding to your educational objectives:

b. Complete the paper application as directed and mail it to our office along with required documents

c. Remember to include a non-refundable Application Fee of $55 USD in the form of a money order or check (must be drawn on a US bank account) payable to Sacramento State University.

How to Apply

1. Submit an online graduate application at Cal State Apply

Also, a non-refundable Application Fee of $55 USD for a graduate application can be paid by credit card. During online application OR mailed in the form of a check, money order or wire transfer payable to Sacramento State University.

2. Official English Proficiency Score Report (Institution Code: 4671)

Graduate: TOEFL - Minimum of 80 iBT
IELTS - Minimum of 7.0 Band Score
PTE Academic Score: 65

NOTE: Mail in an unofficial score report along with other required documents.

3. Original or certified copies of Postsecondary Academic Credentials with English translations. All academic work must be included.

4. Financial document (no older than 6 months) from sponsors showing the amount and source of support.

5. A copy of the biographic information/photo page in your passport.

6. Official admission test score report (GRE* or GMAT*) - if applicable
    *Required by certain graduate programs

NOTE: Mail in an unofficial score report along with other required documents.

7. Additional Documentation (if required by the department) - Masters’ candidates must meet additional program requirements as specified by the major department
