Steps for Submitting the Fall 2018 Application

International First-Time Freshman or Transfer

  1. Complete the application as directed and email or send via courier to our office along with required documents.

If sending via email, please send the application and documents to: intlinfo@csus.edu

Make sure to attach all the required documents in the same email for fast and efficient processing of your application. Required documents should be legible, clear, and submitted as PDF attachments. Missing and blurry documents will delay the review process and prevent staff from issuing an admission decision in a timely manner.

  1. Paying by check or money order: Submit a $55.00 check or money order payable to 'CSUS' via courier.  Please note the applicant’s full name and date of birth in the memo section.
  2. Paying online with credit card or PayPal: Applicants may submit a payment via Flywire online.  An international admissions specialist will provide your Sac State Student ID so that an online payment can be made.
  1. Unofficial test scores may be submitted for the review process, but official test scores are required upon accepting an admission offer.  TOEFL scores may be ordered through ETS and requested to be sent to Sac State using the school code 004671.
  2. If you have taken SAT or ACT, we recommend submitting your scores to Sac State via Collegeboard. Please use 004671 as the school code.
  3. IELTS scores may be requested to be sent by asking British Council to send official scores to the following address:

  1. For international transfer students transferring from U.S. (domestic) universities and colleges: 

    Please request official transcripts to be sent to the International Admissions office.  Transfer credit will not be posted based on unofficial transcripts.  However, make sure to include a copy of your transcripts (unofficial is acceptable) with your application.

  2. For international transfer students transferring from foreign (outside of the U.S.) universities and colleges: 

    Please request official transcripts to be sent to the International Admissions office and include course descriptions and syllabi.  Transfer credit will not be posted based on unofficial transcripts.  However, make sure to include a copy of your transcripts (unofficial is acceptable) with your application so that an admission decision can be made.
