When I move content on a tab in My Sac State, the changes don't "stick". When I leave the tab and return, the layout reverts back. What's going on?

You may receive this warning message depending upon your internet browser and security settings but it's safe to proceed. Although search data may not need to be secured, please be assured that any sensitive data in My Sac State is handled securely.

Your My Stuff tab is fully personalizable but personilizations on other tabs are more limited. There may be cases where you can temporarily move a channel to a new location but if the layout of the tab is locked (i.e., restricted from being changed), those changes will not be permanent and the layout will revert back when you revisit the tab.

I'm using assistive technology and cannot just drag and drop content on My Sac State to rearrange it. How can I personalize my layout?

Your keyboard can be used to move content by moving the focus to the desired content (i.e., tabbing through until you find the item you want) and then holding the Control key along with the appropriate directional arrow key to move the content.

You can also adjust your My Sac State layout by going to the Personalize menu, selecting User Preferences and clicking the directional arrow buttons provided for each content piece to relocate them as desired.

I'm trying to make changes and personalize My Sac State but I'm receiving an "unknown error" message. What does this mean?

An "unknown error" message in My Sac State typically means that you've attempted an action that is not allowed. If you believe that something else is generating the error message and you have additional questions, please contact the Service Desk for assistance.

I'm trying to add a location to the Weather feature and I'm clicking the Add Location button but nothing's happening. What's going on?

When clicking the Add Location button, the appropriate action is taken but the page doesn't provide any feedback to let you know what's happening. Please refresh the page by clicking the My Stuff tab again or using the Refresh button on your browser. The Weather feature should then display the selected location.

"Sacramento, CA" shows up as the location on the My Weather feature but the forecast isn't being displayed. What should I do?

Please click on Edit Locations, Add Location and enter the city or zip code (i.e., "Sacramento, California" or a Sacramento zip code). You'll then need to click Submit, Add Location, refresh the page and select Done to complete the process.

Note:  This is a temporary workaround and we're currently working to resolve the issue so that it will no longer be a problem in the future.
