You will begin by registering with CaptionSync for your Captioning Account. You will recieve an email confirmation within 3 business days, once your account has been approved.
Pricing
Captioning is available at a discounted price for CSU faculty and staff. Please see the Captioning and Transcription Pricing Sheet for more information. CaptionSync service costs will be charged back to your department. By using this service you accept the terms stated on this page including: providing your department charge-back number.
Please Note: For Sac State courses where a deaf or hard of hearing student is enrolled, the cost to caption video using CaptionSync service is covered through a limited Accessible Technology Initiative captioning fund.

Turnaround Time
Turnaround time for captioning and transcription is 3 business days or more. Please note: If you select the rush service (1 day) this is at an additional cost. Late requests may cause a delay in receiving materials, so please establish a plan to provide an equal alternate form of access for the student if materials are not available in a timely manner.
