FEATURES FOR SINGLE LINE USERS

ABBREVIATED DIALING

Program List

  1. Get dial tone
  2. Dial Program Code *0
  3. Dial List Number (1,2, or 3) Most sets only have 1 list.
  4. Dial item number (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0)
  5. Dial telephone number to be stored including 9 and 1 (if reqd.) for outside calls or the five-digit number for on-campus call.
  6. Dial #
  7. Hang-up

Repeat steps 4-6 to store additional numbers.

To use the program list

  1. Get dial tone
  2. Dial *7 for list 1, then dial item number (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0)
  3. Dial *8 for list 2, then dial item number (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0)
  4. Dial *9 for list 3, then dial item number (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0)

AUTO CALLBACK

Activate

  • After dialing an extension number that is busy or does not answer, press the Recall Button or Switchhook during the call attempt, then dial *5 and hang-up.

Cancel

  • Get dial tone, dial #5, hang-up

CALL FORWARDING

Activate

  • Get dial tone and dial *2, dial extension number, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

Cancel

  • Get dial tone and dial #2, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

CALL PARK

  • To park a call in progress, press the Recall Button or Switchhook, dial #8 and hang-up
  • To retrieve, get dial tone, dial #7 and extension number that parked the call

CALL PICKUP

  • Get dial tone and dial #4

CALL WAITING

  • Press Recall Button or Switchhook, dial 1004
  • Repeat step above to switch back and forth between calls

CONFERENCE 3-WAY

To add a call to an existing conversation

Press Recall Button or Switchhook, dial number, press Recall Button or Switchhook again to add

Drop

  • Press Recall Button or Switchhook to drop last party from conference or hang up to terminate entire conference

  • Press Recall Button or Switchhook and dial 1004. To return to call, hang up and phone will ring.

LAST NUMBER REDIAL

  • Get dial tone and dial #0

SEND ALL CALLS

Activate

  • Get dial tone, dial *3, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

Cancel

  • Get dial tone, dial #3, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

  • Press Recall Button or Switchhook, dial the five-digit extension number, listen for ringing or remain on the line to announce call, hang up.

  • Dial #9

This feature works only with redirected calls (coverage, call pickup, call forwarding).

ABBREVIATED DIALING

Program

  1. Get Dial Tone
  2. Press program button
  3. Press AD button to be programmed
  4. Dial telephone number to be stored, including 9 and 1 (if reqd.) for outside calls or five-digit extension number for on-campus calls.
  5. Press #

Repeat steps 3-5 to store additional numbers

To use the AD buttons

  • Get dial tone and press desired AD button

Activate

  • After dialing an extension that is busy or does not answer, press the Auto Callback Button, hang-up

Cancel

  • Get dial tone and press Auto Callback Button, hang-up

   Activate

  • Get dial tone and press Call Forwarding Button or dial *2 dial the five-digit extension, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

Cancel

  • Get dial tone and press Call Forwarding Button or dial #2, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

CALL PARK

  • To park the call press the Trnsfr Button, Dial #8, press the Trnsfr Button, and hang-up.
  • To retrieve, get dial tone and dial #7 and then the five-digit extension number that parked the call.

CALL PICKUP

  • Get dial tone and press Call Pickup Button or dial #4

CONFERENCE 6-WAY

To add a call to an existing conversation

  • Press Conference Button
  • Dial 8 and then the telephone number to add
  • Press Conference Button again
  • Repeat steps above up to a total of 6 conferees including yourself

Drop

  • Press Drop Button to drop last party from conference

LAST NUMBER REDIAL

  • Get dial tone and press Redial Button or dial #0

SEND ALL CALLS

Activate

  • Press Send All Calls Button or get dial tone, dial *3, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

Cancel

  • Press Send All Calls Button or get dial tone, dial #3, listen for confirmation tone, hang-up

  • Press Trnsfr Button
  • Dial the five-digit extension number, listen for ringing or remain on the line to announce the call
  • Press Trnsfr Button again and hang-up

  • Press Trnsfr Button and hang-up

This feature works only with redirected calls (coverage, call pickup, call forwarding).

RECEIVING INCOMING CALLS

When you are busy on a line, the incoming call will ring only once and the line appearance button light will flash until the call goes to coverage (if equipped). The caller still hears ringing and the call can be answered when ringing or flashing. If the set has a display and the user is busy on another line when a call comes in, the calling party is automatically displayed for 30 seconds.
