ListServ at Sac State
ListServ, an enterprise mailing list server, is supported by Sacramento State to enhance communication between faculty, staff and students by automating the distribution of email to a group of users with a common interest. ListServ can be used by campus organizations, classes, departments, committees and other University groups.
You must have an active email account in order to participate in a ListProc. If you are a faculty, staff or student at Sac State and do not have an e-mail account, you may register for a SacLink account.
As of May 1, 2009 all new list requests are being created in our new software, LSoft Listserv. On June 12th, all lists will be moved to this list managemement system.
The ListProc system will continue to run until June 12, 2009. From June 12 , 2009 through December 2009, any messages sent to Listproc will bounce back telling the owner the new address of the system (email@example.com).
Contact the Service Desk for additional information.
