Question 1: How do I print duplex (double sided)?
Answer: Go to File menu -> Print -> Properties -> Select ‘Flip on long edge’. If you have any difficulties, please contact the on duty lab assistant or the Help Desk at (916) 278-7337 or visit ARC 2005.
Question 2. Who do I contact to get a reprint due to a printer error?

Question 3. Can I check out a headphone to listen to audio applications?
Answer: Unfortunately, we do not provide headphones to users. The only availability of headphones are on the "Disability Assist Stations".
Question 4. Where can I go to print my color documents?
Answer: We have color printers in the computer lab of the library (LIB 2000) and also in the computer lab of the Academic Information Resource Center (ARC 2004). You can also go to the Copy Graphics Center located near the Patio Café between the old bookstore and River Front Market.
Question 5. Where can I get help if there is no lab assistant on duty?
Answer: Contact the Help Desk at (916) 278-7337, or visit ARC 2005.
Question 6. When are the labs planning to upgrade to Windows Vista operating system?
Answer: Earliest would be Fall 2009.
Question 7. Where can I go if I want to use a Macintosh?
Answer: We don’t provide Macintosh in our labs, but there are a few available on the second floor of the Library.
Question 8. Where can I download software that is available on the lab’s computers?
Answer: Most of the software in the labs is copyright protected. Copying or downloading without a valid license is illegal. You can buy the software from the respective websites of the software providers. Some of the popular software is also available for purchase in the CSUS Bookstore. You may also try the Software Distribution Website for free campus licensed software.
Question 9. Who do I talk to if a certain piece of equipment does not work?

Question 10. Where can I go to retrieve my lost/forgotten items?

Question 11. How can I print my documents if I don’t have a OneCard?
Answer: Cash is not accepted for printing in the computer labs. You can get a Courtesy OneCard from any of the Value Transfer Station (VTS). If you have the document on a removable disk/flash drive/ CD or DVD, then you can also contact the Copy Graphics Center located near the Patio Café between the old bookstore and River Front Market.
Question 12. Can I print my documents using my own paper?
Answer: Yes. The paper must be 8.5 X 11. Please see the on-duty lab assistant for further assistant.
Question 13. Is there a scanner with automatic document feeder ?
Answer: The computer labs don’t have a scanner with automatic document feeder and neither does the Copy Graphics Center.
