Transitioning From MS Office 2003 to MS Office 2007

Some may experience compatibility issues between MS Office 2003 and MS Office 2007 files.  Specifically, MS Office 2003 cannot understand the MS Office 2007 format.

Here are some solutions to the Microsoft Office related issues being reported.

• Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack
  
  The Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 allows Microsoft Office 2003 users to open, edit, and save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the file formats new to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007.  This Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack is available for download HERE

• Save Files in Microsoft Office 2003 Format
  When working in Microsoft Office 2007, users have the option to save files in Microsoft Office 2003 format.  To do this:
  
  
  1. Click the Office Menu Button in the top left corner.

  

  2. Hover over the Save As option.

  

  3. Chose Word 97-2003 Document, Excel 97-2003 Workbook, or PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation.
