Desktop Support Services

The Desktop Support Services unit, part of Academic Computing Resources (ACR), provides our customers service (including on-site visits) for such things as software problems, hardware issues, network and other connectivity problems and various associated peripherals. Our trained technicians work on diverse computer platforms and software packages. Most problem referrals come through the Help Desk services and thus are handled via HEAT ticket tracking.
