Finance

CFS Finance is a part of a suite of Oracle PeopleSoft enterprise applications that assist the University in the every day business needs of the campus.  The CMS systems allow the campus to complete day to day transaction operations, send and receive summary data information to the CSU Chancellor's office, State Controller's office and other state reporting agencies and integrate with the other campus CMS applications. CFS Finance is comprised of the following modules:  Asset Management, Billing, General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, and Receivables.   This system supports the Administration & Business Affairs functional areas along with campus wide administrative functions such as:

• Purchase requisition entry, inquiry, and approval
• Travel requisition entry, inquiry and approval
• Review and update procurement card transaction chart strings
• Delegation of Authority identification
