Product: Acrobat by Adobe
License Type: IRT License is limited to open labs with the standard IRT image on the machines. The College of Arts and Letters has also purchased licenses for their lab use. Several departments have purchased various licenses for their faculty/staff needs. Contact the University Software Coordinator to determine whether your license needs are covered, or whether (and what kind of) additional licenses need to be purchased. Licenses for non IRT Lab machines need to be purchased either as a standalone product or part of a product suite, and can be licensed either individually (per computer) or concurrently (per simultaneous user). Please consult the University Software Coordinator before purchasing licenses, to determine whether a purchase is required or not, and to confirm the type of license to purchase, based on campus-wide needs and resources.
License Details: The concurrent license allows installation on only University-owned machines with the standard IRT image. Faculty and staff who wish to purchase Adobe products for other University purposes may contact the University Software Coordinator or their ITC to obtain a quote from ASAP at reduced prices. All purchases should include maintenance, if the product is expected to be in use for an extended period of time, since this fractional cost every two years will ensure upgrade rights.
