Administrative Accounts

Administrative accounts are SacLink system(SLS) accounts used for managing technical resources on campus.  These accounts allow system administrators and other technical support personnel to securely manage their systems by eliminating the use of standard personal SacLink accounts. To request an Administrative account please fill out and submit the following form to the Information Security Office. Once you have been granted an SLS account you may request to have your account provisioned for any additional services listed below.

Administrative Account Request Form:
This form must be authorized and approved by a College Dean or Program Center Director/Vice President. An SLS accounts is to be used for all administrative system management duties by ITC's. By default SLS accounts have no privileges until requested.

Administrative accounts may be provisioned into administrative systems/resources to maintain, support and administer campus technology and infrastructure.

  • OU Domain Management
  • KBOX Management
  • Image / .ISO Management
  • Access to Vulnerability Management System
  • Access to provision and deprovision users in VPN group
  • Database Administration

OU Management Permission Form:
 This form must be authorized and approved by a College Dean or Program Center Director/Vice President. This form is required only when an SLS account is used to manage active directory OU's.

Image / .ISO Management:
This form is to authorize ITC's to be able to create and administer computer work station images and the use of .ISO files on campus computers.

Vulnerability Management System
 This form is to authorize ITC’s to access the campus vulnerability scanner.
Steps / Requirments

1. Fillout the request form online.
2. Print the account request form and sign it.
3. Send the completed form to the Information Security Office.
4. Standard proccessing time is three to five working days on all account requests.
