KPMG Vulnerability Assessment

KPMG will be conducting a vulnerability assessment activity on certain campus information systems that have been identified as having a potential vulnerability, storing confidential information and or running email services.

The assessment will be conducted by KPMG in two parts.  The first part is having system owners and administrators complete a short survey and to meet with KPMG to review and discuss survey responses.  Topics will include technical and business functions/processes.

This assessment is a follow up to the Vulnerability Assessment of Sacramento State’s Network Environment prepared by the Center for Information Assurance and Security at Sacramento State.

The Information Security Office hosted two kick off meetings on the dates and times listed below to discuss more details regarding this vulnerability assessment activity by KPMG. This included: details of the project, reviewing the survey questionnaire and response to questions and clarifications regarding this project.

1. April 8th 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Orchard Suite I, 2nd Floor, Union
2. April 10th 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Orchard Suite I, 2nd Floor, Union

If you or your department were unable to attend any of these sessions please click on the urls below to download a copy of the presentation and the questionnaire.

The Information Security Office is currently working with the departments, system owners and KPMG to confirm meeting schedules including date, time and location. Once these are confirmed, a follow up email will be sent to all participating system owners regarding the meeting times and location.
