Emergency System Maintenance
Emergency maintenance of major campus IT systems is planned to begin at 8:00 pm tomorrow evening, Friday August 24th and end by 2 am on Saturday, August 25th. This emergency maintenance is required to correct a potential problem with our campus file systems and to minimize the risk of problems occurring during the fall semester. We chose the timing for this mandatory maintenance in order to minimize disruption for teaching and learning by completing it between summer and fall sessions, and to be done late on a Friday when usage is very low.
Affected Systems: This shutdown will affect SacCT and MySacState. Systems that should not be affected by this outage are Campus email, the Student Center, the Faculty Center, telephone and network activity. Faculty and students can access available systems by clicking on the MySacState link on the campus home page, which will be redirected to an alternate site.
