New method and instructions for ordering 8 1/2 x 11 photocopy paper
In order to reduce photocopy costs and use of paper for photocopiers, we are changing the way paper is provisioned for university-owned photocopiers. Beginning January, 14th, all 8 1/2 x 11 white paper will be purchased directly in bulk by the program center that uses photocopiers. More

SafeConnect for wireless Macs and PCs - Coming in January
Beginning Jan. 7th, Sacramento State will require use of the SafeConnect tool for all university and auxiliary staff who connect to the campus wireless network with a laptop computer (either university-owned or personal). More

Information Security and Patch Management
More than 90% of campus-owned computers have now received ‘patch management’ protection and consequently have updated anti-virus and system security software protecting our privacy. Those staff members with university computers at home or laptop computers that infrequently connect to the campus network should check with local IT support or the Service Desk (278-7337) to ensure patch management is up to date.
