Operations and Network Support

WHO WE ARE

The Operations and Network Support (ONS) group consists of 21 highly-skilled full time employees and 4 student assistants who perform a variety of complex tasks to install, maintain, upgrade, operate and protect the University's information technology infrastructure. ONS ensures the uptime and availability of all the Campus systems including PeopleSoft access, WebCT, e-mail, OneCard, OnBase, web services and much more. The ONS Director oversees the Network Services, Systems Administrations and the Data Center Operations groups.

The primary purpose of this group is to keep the central computing systems operational, secure, up-to-date and efficient as well as to keep the campus-wide network operational, secure and available. ONS also provides technical assistance to the Campus community and the CSU as needed.
