Operations and Systems Support

Who We Are

The Operations nd Systems Support (OSS) group consists of 19 highly-skilled employees who perform a variety of complex tasks to install, maintain, upgrade, operate and protect the University's investment in its information technology. The OSS Manager oversees several Network and Operating Systems Analysts and the Operations staff which includes the Data Center Coordinator, Computer Room Operators, and several part-time Student Assistants.

The primary purpose of this group is to keep the campus central computing systems operational, secure, up-to-date and efficient; keep the campus-wide network operational, secure and efficient; and to provide technical assistance to other staff within Information Resources & Technology (IRT).
