Telecommunication Call Center Student Assistant

Position: Student Assistant Level I
Starting Salary: $7.50 per hour
Hours: 5 to 20 hours per week *
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer all incoming calls to the campus call-center; direct the calls to the appropriate departments and personnel.
  • Perform various clerical duties.
  • Give information about enrollment, classes, and special events. Tuition and directions to campus.
  • Perform keys and parking permit checkout procedures to vendors on daily basis.
  • Constantly keep call-center environment and equipment clean and orderly.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Students must display good communication skills.
  • Customer service skills and motivation.
  • Experience using windows operating system and software such as MS word, MS excel, Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
  • Knowledge of Saclink, Casperweb and WebCT.
  • Dependability and Punctuality.
