On Monday night, SacCT experienced a slowdown that caused severe delays in response time for end users. As soon as we became aware of the issue, IRT restarted SacCT related systems in succession to restore normal operations while avoiding a complete shutdown of SacCT. Although we had prepared for an increased workload due to finals, we are investigating whether this slowdown might have been caused by the increased volume of users. We are currently working with the vender to learn more and resolve the root cause of the issue. We will continue to monitor the SacCT systems for unusual activity in order to reduce the likelihood of problems, especially during this week of finals.
As usual we will continue to provide information about all IRT systems on this page as it becomes available.
