Athleague Web Accessibility Evaluation
Executive Summary
Based on this evaluation, the Athleague Web site is Approved with Execeptions.
This report describes the conformance of
Athleague
with Sacramento State's Accessible Technology Policy.
Overall, the accessibility of the Athleague website is good. However, there are areas of concern that need to be addressed. The global menu on the top right of the page which includes links to 'Todos', 'Inbox', etc contains div tags inside of anchor tags. Anchor tags cannot contain block level elements. This prevents keyboard navigation. Also, the menu fails to meet color contrast standards. Images need to have proper alt tag text. If an image is used for decoration purposes only then it must have an empty alt tag.
The review process is described in the Review Process section below and is based on the W3C's Conformance Evaluation method as described in Evaluating Web Sites for Accessibility.
