Sac State Browser Compatibility

The following Browser matrix shows the level of compatibility for the most used Sac State systems based on the most popular devices and browsers. Information for browser combatibility is gathered from end user reporting.

A. A user can perform most functions using the prescribed methods of interacting with the application. There are no known issues.

B. A user can perform many functions, but must rely on non-prescribed methods of interacting with the application.

C. A user can perform some basic functions, but most functions are unavailable or there are other significant problems.

F. A user cannot use even basic functions of the application.

M. Mobile Aware. Content is structured to display on the mobile device or there is a mobile application available.

1. The scroll function when editing a page is not functional in many IOS browsers including Safari, Terra, Mercury, Atomic. Tilting the iPad to a vertical orientation can be a workaround in some cases

2. Does not support Collaboration Tool (chat)

3. Known issue with scroll bar in Respondus

4. Safari web browser on Apple iOS devices such as an iPad or iPhone have seen compatibility problems with use of mobile Safari to access the Faculty and Student Centers and other CMS features.  For this reason, we recommend against the use of Mobile Safari at this time.

5. Links in the Outlook Web Access channel are not functional

At Sac State, we've collected data on visitors to csus.edu. The data comes from all visitors to www.csus.edu via Google Analytics.
