Michael Wright

Michael Wright began work at ISR at the end of 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from California State University, Sacramento and worked for several years in the telecommunications industry before defecting over to the social side of the sciences. As an engineer, he specialized in the detailed system level definition and functional design of new generations of fiber optic communications systems. He spent much of his career in and out of Japan and also had the opportunity to work as a company representative to the International Telecommunications Union in Geneva, Switzerland. He is now applying his research and analytical skills in the social science domain at ISR while he pursues a Master of Arts in Sociology.
