Hiring Telephone Interviewers
The ISR is set to begin a new research project very soon and is looking for students and other qualified persons to work as part-time, temporary telephone interviewers. Interviewers will develop valuable social science research skills that can be added to a resume. Interviewers will be expected to ask questions from a survey and enter responses into a computer. Prospective applicants need to have strong active listening skills, be able to read from a script, basic computer skills and comfort, have excellent verbal communication skills and a pleasant speaking voice. Previous experience is not necessary and you will receive (paid) training in order to learn how to use the Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) software and conduct telephone interviews. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. To apply, please go to www.ueijobs.com and direct any questions you have to Meredith Melnick, Graduate Research Assistant at (email@example.com).
