Miles down Gas Point Road, amongst the small family home and large cow fields, lies the heart of Cottonwood, California. The name says it all; a small hick town, no shopping malls, no skyscrapers, just a few small stores and family owned businesses, and of course the O.K. Corral. Some people may see Cottonwood as a “nothing town” but I guess some people don’t take a look around and see what I see. Beautiful sunsets, rolling hills and oak trees as far as the eye can see.My photograph represents the beauty of a sunset in Cottonwood, and the slow easy going nature the town posses. If you live nearby and have not witnessed a sunset in Cottonwood you’re missing out on the undeniable beauty that exists in Cottonwood, California.
