Education Reform in California. Student Run Press Conference - March 4, 1999

Past efforts to reform education in California have focused primarily on improvements to elementary education. But recent attempts to improve California's public schools focus on reforms at the high school level. This Student-Run Press Conference gives 10 high school students from all over the state the opportunity to meet with state leaders who work on issues surrounding public education. Students share their opinions on the conditions of our high schools, offer suggestions for improvement, and seek answers from policy makers on how they hope to implement reforms.
