Gun Control vs. Gun Rights: Teenagers Speak Out! - May 2, 2002
In recent years, California lawmakers have taken steps to
decrease gun violence by implementing a number of laws making it more difficult
to purchase and own certain types of guns. Proponents of gun control argue
that such actions make the state a safer place to live while opponents of gun
control disagree and cite their constitutional rights to bear arms. Have
lawmakers implemented too many gun safety laws? Are our communities really
any safer? Whos right and whos wrong?
