Welcome!

The Liberal Arts Master's Program is one of the most exciting places to be at California State University, Sacramento. Possibly the most innovative program on campus, its purpose is to give people who love to learn an opportunity to explore the liberal arts in their own way and at their own pace.

Flexibility is the most important principle of our program. You must complete three core courses (LIBA 200A, 200B, and 200C), but beyond that, you are free to design your own education. You will receive credit for any approved graduate course within the area of liberal arts that fires your interest. You may also count up to six units of upper-division courses toward your degree.

The Liberal Arts Master's Program offers a wide variety of fascinating courses, expert faculty and impressive library resources. You will also benefit from the friendship and collaboration of other students. In short, the program offers everything you'll need for a truly stimulating and satisfying experience.

Whether you are a current student in need of advising or a prospective student interested in additional information, I encourage you to contact me at your earliest convenience.

With best wishes,
