Welcome to Mail Services

Welcome to the webpage for Mail Services at Sacramento State! Our webpage contains the most current information to assist you with both your intra-campus and external campus mailing needs.

On our page, we provide links to external service resources for general information. Before you mail your package, please call us first for the best pricing. Mail Services has discount pricing for mailing most University packages.

We are located on the northwest side of campus, next to Reprographics and to the west of Facilities Services (click here for map). Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The U.S. Postal Service picks up our outbound mail no later than 3 p.m.

Mailing Tip

of the Month:

New Move Update regulations require that mailing lists be corrected and certified within ninety-five (95) days of a mailing.  It is very important that mailing lists maintained by campus departments eliminate duplicate names, undeliverable and incomplete addresses from their database before sending out a mass mailing.

This will not only save your department the costs of printing and mailing pieces that will not make it to their destination; but also save on the cost of returns.  Remember, when addressing a mass audience, the more successful mailers are not those that get sent to the greatest number of people, but those that actually reach the greatest number of people.  Mail Services can assist you in making sure your list is accurate and deliverable.
